AMERICAN HISTORY CURRICULUM FOR HOMESCHOOLERS

Wild World of History's American History Homeschool Curriculum was created by Professor Larry Schweikart—otherwise known as America's history teacher. Professor Schweikart taught American history for more than two decades and his best-selling book, A Patriot's History of the United States, is referenced in thousands of high school and college classroom's across America.

This course will teach your homeschool students everything they need to know about the history of the United States, from early American history and the colonial period through to the end of Reconstruction in 1877 and the Great Crash of the 1920's. It incorporates the "Four Pillars" of American exceptionalism—a Christian, mostly Protestant religious foundation; common law; private property with written titles and deeds; and a free market economy—and illustrates how they shaped the early United States.

Over the course of 22 lessons, Professor Schweikart imparts his unparalleled knowledge of American history through a series of engaging and entertaining educational videos, each one covering a different era in US history. Drawing on his two decades of experience as a history teacher, Professor Schweikart provides you with the educational tools and resources you need to bring history to life.

The American History Curriculum For Homeschoolers is split into two parts and includes 22 lessons, as well as a free bonus tutorial on how to teach history to your homeschool students.

Aimed at grades 9–12, each lesson features a full-length video and each part is designed to be taught over the course of a full semester.
